Whitby Restaurant Week 2026: Savour the Coast for Less
2 – 8 March 2026
Whitby Restaurant Week is back this March, bringing a full week of great-value dining to one of Yorkshire’s most loved seaside towns. From Monday 2 March to Sunday 8 March 2026, restaurants, cafés and pubs across Whitby will be serving specially created set menus priced at just £10, £15, £20 or £30.
Whether you’re a local foodie or planning a coastal day out, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy quality dining without stretching your budget.
A Taste of Whitby
Whitby’s food scene is packed with variety, and Restaurant Week showcases the best of it. Expect everything from traditional seaside staples to modern dishes crafted with local ingredients.
- Classic fish and chips by the harbour
- Hearty pub lunches
- Cosy café breakfasts and brunches
- Evening dining menus
- Indulgent desserts and sweet treats
Each participating venue creates a fixed-price menu for the event, giving diners the chance to try somewhere new or revisit a favourite at a fantastic price.
How It Works
Restaurants choose one of four pricing tiers — £10, £15, £20 or £30 — and design a menu within that band. Offers are available on selected days and times during the week, and availability may vary between venues.
As offers are limited, booking ahead is recommended where possible. Always check directly with the venue for menu details, exclusions and availability.
Why Visit in March?
March is a brilliant time to explore Whitby. The town is quieter than the summer peak, making it easier to enjoy scenic coastal walks, browse independent shops and relax in welcoming eateries.
Pair a refreshing sea breeze with a warming meal and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a relaxed day out by the coast.
Plan Your Visit
Whitby Restaurant Week runs from 2 – 8 March 2026. Gather your friends, book a table and make the most of a week dedicated to celebrating local food and hospitality.
Great food, great value and a beautiful seaside setting — what more could you ask for?
